Collectible usernames and anonymous numbers
How handle and number collectibles work, what they can and cannot do, and how transfers happen.
This guide is an outline. A long-form version with diagrams is in progress.
- 01
Understand the item
A collectible username is a handle recorded as an NFT. An anonymous +888 number is a login identifier inside one app, not a SIM.
- 02
Check what it unlocks
A number lets you sign in without a phone SIM. It cannot receive SMS from banks or ordinary calls.
- 03
Verify the source
Only use official pages reached from a bookmark. Clone sites copy auction layouts exactly.
- 04
Learn the transfer flow
Transfers are signed in a TON wallet. Read the destination and the item before you approve.
Common mistakes
- Treating an anonymous number like a phone number for 2FA
- Buying through a middleman in DMs
- Ignoring renewal or linkage rules for the app account
